Hopkinsville, Kentucky
Hopkinsville-Christian County Downtown Farmers Market keeps a public-facing presence through facebook.com/HopkinsvilleDowntownFarmersMarket, alongside Instagram, Twitter/X, and the City of Hopkinsville, giving this downtown market a clearly established place in the city’s visitor and civic network. The market runs in Historic Downtown Hopkinsville at Founder’s Square parking lot, placing weekly shopping right at the corner of 9th and Main Streets rather than on the edge of town. That combination of downtown placement and city-linked promotion makes it feel tied to the center of Hopkinsville’s weekly rhythm.
Founder’s Square parking lot in Historic Downtown Hopkinsville is not just a backdrop here; it puts the market inside one of the city’s named visitor districts, where shopping for farm goods sits alongside downtown activity. The City of Hopkinsville includes the market within its historic downtown visitor materials, which gives it a civic role beyond a standalone weekly stop.
The payment setup also matters locally. This market accepts debit, credit, and EBT cards, along with Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Vouchers and WIC, widening who can use it and how they can pay. Named contacts Beth Richardson and Laura Faulkner are attached to market information and vendor registration, showing a specific local point of coordination rather than an anonymous event page.
The market materials emphasize the market itself, its downtown setting, and its payment access more than individual vendor profiles, so what stands out most here is the weekly market format in the center of Hopkinsville. Expect a city-supported downtown farmers market with on-site shopping rather than a published vendor roster.
The named event is simply Downtown Farmers Market, presented as a recurring downtown market rather than a festival-style program with separate activities listed.
No dogs are allowed, which is the detail most likely to change a quick downtown stop if you usually bring a pet along. The market is held in Founder’s Square parking lot at the corner of 9th and Main Streets in Historic Downtown Hopkinsville, so parking is built into the site description and the location is easy to target on arrival. The street address is 110 West 9th Street.
Thursdays run from 4pm to 7pm during the May-to-October season, making this more of an after-work market than an early-morning one. Restrooms are not listed as available. For market questions or vendor registration, the listed contacts are Beth Richardson and Laura Faulkner, with a published phone number of 270.887.4285.
This market accepts debit, credit, and EBT cards, and it also takes Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Vouchers and WIC. For shoppers using food assistance benefits, that makes Hopkinsville-Christian County Downtown Farmers Market one of the more flexible payment setups you’ll find in a weekly downtown format.

The vendors were all very nice. I wish it were a little bigger and had some goat cheese. I definitely plan to return to buy soap, beets, and jam. Prices seem reasonable. I also like that it's by a little park by the river and the library.
Wonderful little market, good parking, easy access. I wish it had more vendors but great for a quick stop on Saturday morning. Some of the produce is a little high but I love the baked goods.
Today I bought beautiful tomatoes, squash, and zucchini. They had lots of other veggies as well as eggs, flowers, and soaps.
Very small farmers market, but GREAT selection and outstanding prices! One vendor had sourdough bread that I will definitely return for!!!
Love the Farmers Market here in Hoptown. Been able to purchase items like pickled aspargus, honey, strawberry jams, and vegetable soup. Always have some tomatoes, onions, peppers, and corn.
