Farmers Market
Bowling Green, Kentucky
Community Farmers Market Bowling Green runs year-round in Bowling Green as a producer-only market at 2319 Nashville Road, near WKU South Campus and the Knicely Conference Center. The setup matters: produce growers, meat producers, bakers, flower farmers, cheesemakers, and prepared-food vendors all sell under one market banner, with a mix that stretches well beyond standard vegetable shopping. With both Saturday morning and Tuesday afternoon hours, it offers two distinct chances each week to shop for staples like eggs, greens, and meat or add coffee, flowers, pottery, and body care to the same stop.
The market’s strongest throughline is breadth within a producer-only format: everyday groceries sit alongside specialty foods, flowers, home goods, and craft work from named vendors. Shoppers can build a full basket here, then keep going into extras that range from Thai eggplant to charcuterie cups and cast iron restoration.
No dogs are allowed at this market, which is the clearest rule to know before arriving. The market takes place at 2319 Nashville Road near WKU South Campus and the Knicely Conference Center, a useful landmark pair if you are navigating across Bowling Green. It operates on two weekly schedules rather than a single market day: Saturday mornings from 8 am to 1 pm and Tuesday afternoons from 2 pm to 6 pm. Restrooms are not available on site. If you like shopping directly from growers and makers, the producer-only format means the vendor mix centers on farms and producers selling their own goods.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Community Farmers Market Bowling Green. The market also runs a Double Dollars program tied to WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers, Senior Farmers Market Nutrition vouchers, and SNAP/EBT benefits. Volunteers help process transactions and disburse tokens for those Double Dollars programs on both Saturdays and Tuesdays.

This Farmers Market, definitely the best experience you’ll find on a Saturday morning! Get there early, many vendors will sell out! Don’t forget to get a fresh baked cookie from Tiffany at EQ Cookies as you walk back to your car!
A tremendous assortment of Kentucky farm products and crafts. Two vendors to serve breakfast and lunch, a half-dozen vegetable stands (I like Nathan's in the corner), hydroponic growers, cattle & pork butchers, canned jams, crafts, local wines. What's not to like! Very small on Tuesday, so Saturday is much better.
Fresh, regional, seasonal food and handmade products. From delicious bread, goat cheese, and sweets to jewelry and pottery, there's a fantastic selection. A pleasant exchange with the vendors rounds out the shopping experience.
Plenty of fresh produce and locally sourced meats and cheeses, as well as vendors for hand made skin care products, flower arrangements and hand carved wood pieces. The vendors are friendly and knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating. A must visit in Bowling Green.
Always love going to the farmer's market on Nashville Rd. A friend and I attempted to go to Soky Marketplace downtown but they're only there on Thursday now??? Was happy to see some of our favorite vendors moved to this one. Working during the week I won't be able to go to the one downtown anymore.
