Marketplace at Westfield ties its identity to the same local-food values emphasized by LocalHarvest: connecting people looking for good food with the farmers who produce it, building strong local economies, and keeping food production on a human scale. In Westfield, that mission takes shape as a market that welcomes 44 vendors each week and centers Indiana-grown goods in historic downtown. The result is a market page with two clear cues for shoppers: this is a place built around direct relationships with growers, and it is framed as part of a broader local-food network rather than a one-off shopping stop.
Historic downtown Westfield is not just the backdrop here; it is part of how the market presents itself, pairing a downtown setting with a weekly lineup of 44 vendors offering Indiana-grown meats and plants. That emphasis keeps the market tied to products from within the state rather than a generalized craft-fair mix.
The market also sits inside the LocalHarvest ecosystem, which describes its purpose as connecting people with farmers, encouraging trust in who grows the food, and supporting strong local economies. For Westfield shoppers, that means the market is framed around direct farmer-to-customer exchange and the practical idea of buying food on a human scale, not simply filling stalls. Those local-economy and farmer-connection themes are central to how the market is positioned.
The clearest throughline is Indiana-grown farm product, with the market description pointing to a sizable weekly vendor count rather than a narrow specialty focus. Even without a full vendor roster, the mix is presented as agriculture-led and broad enough to support routine shopping.
Programming adds a steady activity layer beyond shopping. The market lists live entertainment each week, and it also notes an event cadence on the first Friday of every month. Historic downtown Westfield and LocalHarvest’s local-food language give this market a specific feel: not a pop-up with a vague “shop local” message, but a downtown market described through Indiana-grown goods and direct ties between shoppers and producers. The setting matters because the market explicitly invites people to experience it in historic downtown Westfield while hosting 44 vendors each week, which suggests a market meant to be part of the town’s regular public rhythm rather than a side event. That same thread runs through the surrounding LocalHarvest framing, where CSA, farms, events, and farmers’ markets appear alongside the stated goal of helping people find good food from people they trust. Weekly live entertainment and a first-Friday event marker reinforce that public, recurring character without shifting the focus away from farm-centered trade.
No dogs is the clearest visit-planning rule attached to this market, so shoppers arriving with pets will need to adjust before heading downtown. Another useful detail is that payment methods are presented clearly, which helps if you like to decide in advance how you’ll handle purchases across multiple vendors.
The market is listed at 3333 East State Rd. in Westfield, and its materials place the experience in historic downtown Westfield, so it helps to keep both the street address and the downtown context in mind when navigating. Restrooms are marked as unavailable in the visit details, another practical consideration if you are planning a longer stop around shopping and weekly entertainment.

Last year there were multiple vendors selling the same items - fresh eggs, honey, etc. Not this Saturday 🙁Also only a coffee truck- no food trucks - and no live music or meals to buy this Saturday. I hope they return to the previous format. When I expressed my view to the “welcome table,” I felt I was simply annoying the person and keeping him from his phone.
Great product. Vendors were very welcoming and friendly
A nice way to spend a Saturday morning!!!!
I pulled up these directions and ended up at some brewery, so I have yet to find this place.
Probably about 20 people lined up in the parking lot just waiting on people to come out. More cars on the street lined up trying to get in. Ridiculous. I left and will not return. The lot in back was full as well. I’m not parking in the dirt
