Old Capitol Farmers Market - Springfield

Love the farmers market. I go down on my lunch on Saturdays. I usually buy from "For the LoVe of Snacks", freeze dried candy! I like to try different foods down there. It's jammed packed with lots of people and good vibes.

Great little market. We love to do a few laps and get some fresh bread and produce for the week. Prices are much more reasonable compared to other farmers markets I have been to and we are able to get most of what we need for the week here. Prices comparable to or better than the grocery store for higher quality items.

The Old capital Farmers Market is great 👍. I was mostly excited to find the fresh Mushroom stand. These are mushrooms that I can't find anywhere else. I love this market and the beautiful produce they have available

The freshest of produce and delicious baked goods bring us back to the Farmers Market week after week. Love the fresh flowers and there seems to be an ever rotating selection of vendors meaning that you always get a pleasant surprise when you visit. Be sure to check out the always tasty treats at "A Lil' Sumpin' Special" as she seems to attend really consistently.

The vendors are all so pleasant and amazingly helpful! The baked goods vendor tossed in some free bread for us and it was all so fresh! I plan on going here for all my produce needs next summer!
