Dallas, Georgia
Dallas Highway is the landmark anchor for the Paulding County Farm Bureau Farmers Market, a seasonal market in Dallas, Georgia that opens from April to July. The market’s spring-to-midsummer window gives it a focused rhythm, with opening day specifically announced for April 17 in one season update. That short run, paired with the note about a changed market day, suggests a market built around the fresh local produce season rather than a year-round schedule. Alongside farm goods, the market also includes handmade soaps from Nature’s Garden, adding one clearly named non-food vendor to the mix.
April 17 was important enough to be called out as the market’s opening day, with the season framed around “lots of fresh, local produce” for Dallas-area shoppers. That emphasis puts the market squarely in the local-food pattern the platform describes: connecting people looking for good food with the farmers who produce it, and keeping food production on a human scale. The Paulding County Farm Bureau name also places the market inside an explicitly agricultural local context rather than a general retail setting.
The market was also still accepting vendor applications when that season announcement ran, which means the market was actively building participation from sellers as it opened. For shoppers, that matters because the market is not just a place to buy produce; it is part of a local selling structure that depends on growers and makers joining in season by season.
The clearest through-line here is a small seasonal market centered on fresh local produce, with at least one named handmade-goods vendor in the lineup. The product picture is not expansive in the public notes, but what is named points to a market that combines farm shopping with a limited maker presence.
An opening-day announcement says the season was launching with “lots of fresh, local produce,” which gives the strongest description of what shoppers can expect from the farm side of the market. The same update also notes that vendor applications were still being accepted at that time, so the mix may have been developing as the season opened.
The listed event tied to this market is the seasonal opening on April 17, marking the start of the market’s annual run.
The most distinct thread around this market is its place inside a wider local-food landscape that includes not just markets, but farms, u-pick listings, farm stands, photos, and events near Powder Springs and the surrounding area. That agritourism-adjacent context gives the Paulding County Farm Bureau Farmers Market a setting that feels tied to seasonal food activity rather than isolated from it. Even the market’s own season-opening note carries that same spring-start energy: a new Thursday schedule, an invitation to mark the calendar for April 17, and anticipation for fresh local produce as the season begins. The result is a market that reads as part of a regional warm-weather cycle of farm shopping and food events, with Dallas Highway as a clear geographic anchor.
No dogs are allowed at this market, a practical rule that may affect how you plan the trip. The market is located at 4075 Charles Hardy Parkway in Dallas, with Dallas Highway serving as a nearby landmark reference. Restrooms are not available on site, so shorter visits may be easier to plan around that limitation.
Season matters here too: the market runs from April through July, and one season update specifically announced a Thursday opening day on April 17 after a change in day of the week. Payment methods are listed as clear, though no specific types are named in the public details provided here. A contact person, debbie hill, is associated with the market for vendor-related communication.
A review suggests the market is located on Dallas Highway at 92 and is set up with tents.

The best insurance company in Grorgia! I have been with the Farm Bureau since I turned 16 and got my first car. I now have my husband 2 vehicles and our home on the policy. Fantastic folks treat you like family and are ALWAYS there. LOVE this company!!
I love this place. Denise takes great care of my Mom and she just turned 80 this year, so at times it can be a little challenging, but everyone at the Dallas, Georgia office is very helpful and Denise always treats her like family. Denise is always very patient with her and answers all of her questions and is happy to explain anything that Mom wants or needs to know. I want to say thank you so much to Denise and everyone that works at the Georgia Farm Bureau in Dallas GA. for always taking such care in all that you do for her. We both really value your kindness and friendship.
