Orange Park, Florida
Orange Park Farmer's & Arts Market stands out for accepting USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, putting SNAP shopping at the center of the market’s weekly usefulness rather than treating it as an add-on. The market is held at 2042 Park Avenue in Orange Park and runs on the first and third Sunday schedule from September through June, giving the town a recurring market stop through most of the cooler season. With its combined farmers-and-arts identity and a dedicated market site that includes recipes, photos, and next-market details, this is a market built as an ongoing town program, not a one-off pop-up.
The Town of Orange Park is directly tied to this market, and that municipal connection gives the market a more rooted role on Park Avenue than a standalone private event would have. Its address at 2042 Park Avenue places it in a civic-commercial stretch near Town Hall Park and the Gates of Park Avenue Shopping Center, tying market day to familiar local landmarks rather than an isolated venue.
The market also connects local shopping with food-access programs. It accepts SNAP and participates in Feeding Florida’s Fresh Access Bucks Program, linking everyday produce buying with a statewide benefit program designed to stretch food budgets at participating markets. Named market contact Emily Dockery and the posted town phone number reinforce that this is an organized, publicly facing operation with clear local stewardship.
What stands out here is the market’s mixed identity: it presents itself as both a farmers market and an arts market, so the emphasis is broader than produce alone. The market’s own materials also point shoppers toward recipes and photo albums, which suggests a shopping trip shaped by home cooking ideas and a recurring event calendar rather than a single-purpose errand.
The biggest planning detail is the schedule: this market is held on the first and third Sunday of each month, not every Sunday, from September through June. That timing matters if you are building a routine stop around it. The market takes place at 2042 Park Avenue in Orange Park.
Parking is available at Town Hall and behind the Gates of Park Avenue Shopping Center, which gives drivers two named options close to the market area. Dogs are not allowed, and restrooms are not available on site. If you need a direct point of contact before heading over, the market lists a phone number and Emily Dockery as a named contact.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Orange Park Farmer's & Arts Market, and the market also participates in Feeding Florida’s Fresh Access Bucks Program. The market’s materials clearly include a dedicated SNAP/EBT program section, which makes payment access part of the market’s regular operations rather than a side note.
Parking is available at Town Hall and behind the Gates of Park Avenue Shopping Center.
Outdoor, rain or shine market. ATM is available on site at each market. SNAP/EBT cards can be used to buy tokens for eligible food items.

Local farmers selling fruits and vegetables. Yummy food trucks. Sometimes they have local dance troops or choirs perform. There is a vendor selling plants for your garden. A tracker ride and playground for the little people in your life. A fun way to spend a Sunday shopping. 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month September thru May only.
Great and happy vendors. I bought some plants from vendor and are hope and thriving. The food vendors are great...wide variety. I come here for the vegetables because it's close...truth ...the jalapeños. You have to get there early cause vendors start packing up at 1 ish even though it's open till noon. Limited stalls but it's a solid feel good small market on grass.
My wife and I went to the fall festival and had a great time!!! Lots of crafts and stuff to look at, lots of food and the live music was great.
All the vendors are friendly. It is also pet friendly...love seeing all the pups. Good food and it's always where I get my honey. This last time I also got a beautiful head of cabbage. I didn't stay long for I had other things going on...at times, I have stayed 2 to 3 hours and enjoyed every minute.
Small yet a nice opportunity for local crafters to show their items. Also nice to get outside and enjoy the day. Disappointed in the seafood vendor Prime House Steaks and Seafood, I ordered 2 lbs of large shrimp, 10 per pound, got a few large shrimp and mostly small ones. Emailed the vendor and they were very responsive, would buy from them again as they have good customer service. .
