Farmers Market
Jacksonville, Florida
1810 West Beaver Street puts Jacksonville Farmers Market about a mile west of historic Downtown Jacksonville and just north of the Riverside and Avondale areas, giving it a distinctly urban setting rather than a park-style pop-up. The market runs every day of the week, with a vendor list and market map designed to help shoppers find specific stalls. What stands out here is the range packed into one address: produce vendors with named stall locations, a seafood stand, boiled peanuts, desserts, plants, and an on-site grill and restaurant. If you like to shop with a plan, this is a market where individual vendors matter.
David’s Produce, Teresa’s Produce, Nacho Produce, Louis’ Produce, Luna’s Produce, Momma’s Produce, Gabriel’s Produce, and Torres Produce make clear that this market leans heavily into produce, but the mix does not stop at fruits and vegetables. Alongside staple produce stands, you’ll find vendors focused on greens, island specialties, seafood, live chickens and livestock, desserts, plants, and prepared food.
No dogs are allowed, which is the detail most likely to change how you plan a visit. The market is also open every day, with longer Monday-through-Saturday hours than Sunday, so the day you choose affects how much shopping time you’ll have. If you’re trying to track down a specific seller, use the vendor list and market map approach this market already supports; some vendors are identified by exact stall numbers, and The Green Spot is placed at the west end of Building Three. One more scheduling detail matters: Mary’s Produce is closed on Mondays even though the market itself is open. Restrooms are not available, so plan your stop accordingly.
Credit, debit, & EBT cards accepted by select vendors. ATM on premises. The market closes early on Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, and New Years Day, and is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Great place to find fresh fruits, vegetables and other things like plants. Found items I had never seen or heard of before. Received some good deals and cooking tips from market goers.
Jacksonville has a wonderful farmers market. Ther have a lot of beautiful fruits and veggies. Great vendors. And a nice sense of community. My last visit was when we first moved to west Jacksonville. I was like this place is a diamond in the rough. Pet friendly so bring your puppy. And come on down to beaver street.
The amount of produce is unbelievable!!!! The prices have been great! There is a beautiful flower store hidden to the right when you walk through the entrance. Speaking of the entrance DO NOT PASS UP on the banana pudding!! Those ladies know what they are doing!!!! If this helps anyone, I see signs that the take food assistant payments - for the produce.
Apart from the wonderful produce, there is a plant sanctuary that is amazing. With a natural juice bar using pasta straws!! 🥹🥹 I had a soursop/blackberry hibiscus drink and it legit was the best thing I could ask for on a hot day and only $3 gorgeous plants, carnivorous ones too!!!! 😱
Visited the market today. We had not been to Jacksonville Farmers Market in years. We got there really early, so we were able to move around pretty easily. I love all of the different fruit and vegetables choices. The prices are why you should visit. Much lower than at the supermarket. We picked up some green peppers, onions, oranges, lemons and ginger. The lady that sells the honey was not there yet. There is a fish market and an area where they sell plants. There are restrooms available. On site there is an air conditioned restaurant. The menu looked good. I would recommend going on a...
