Farmers Market
Bozrah, Connecticut
45
Bozrah Farmers Market keeps a tight local standard: vendors must be Connecticut-based businesses, must create or grow their own products, or participate as local nonprofits, with added insurance and health-registration requirements for food sellers. That setup gives the Friday market a clearly local shape rather than a broad resale mix. The market runs at 45 Bozrah Street in Bozrah, with seasonal evening hours that place it squarely in the town’s summer-to-fall rhythm. Market materials also point to a sizable roster, with a 45-vendor claim that suggests a fuller lineup than the single confirmed vendor profile currently highlights.
The clearest throughline here is locally made or locally grown goods, reinforced by vendor rules that limit participation to Connecticut businesses making or growing their own products, plus local nonprofits. Even with only one named vendor profile in hand, the market’s own description frames a mix that reaches beyond produce into artisan-made foods and crafts, while the vendor-count claim points to a broader on-site selection over the season.
Market nights are Fridays from July 12 through October 11, and the calendar also includes other community events as they are scheduled.
No dogs is the clearest ground rule to factor into your plan before arriving at 45 Bozrah Street. Fridays run from 4 to 7 PM, a narrower shopping window than an all-day market, so timing matters if you are trying to fit in a stop after work or before evening plans. The market is seasonal, running from July into October rather than year-round, and that short calendar shapes when the full market is available.
The site also signals a few practical details without fully expanding them: payment information is presented clearly, parking assistance is referenced through scavenger hunt arrival instructions, and no restroom availability is listed in visitor details. On the vendor side, the market’s Connecticut-based, make-or-grow, and nonprofit participation rules indicate a curated standard rather than an open-anything setup, which is useful context when deciding what kind of market trip this will be.
The market hosts live music and typically has 4-5 food trucks. Shade is not guaranteed and vendors are advised to come prepared for weather (including wind and heat).

The farmers' market here is amazing. I love the variety of vendors and the different themed events that they do, and the rotation of vendors they have. This is definitely a farmers market that everyone should check out, they have something for everyone! From food trucks to fresh veggies from local farms, handmade items, and some pretty amazing handmade dog treats that my pup is obsessed with.
Went to Bacon festival, it was small but we found the vendors were so nice we didn't care. They took the time to explain their products and were so friendly. Going to come back next year!
Bozrah farmers market is one of the most diverse group of vendors around. Presently, the market is drive thru with an option to pre-order though not required. All the favorite vendors are there. In July the market will go to it's usual day and time of Friday between 4 and 7. It's worth going to and supporting local small business.
Good, there is a vegan bakery, one organic vender, the CBD hemp lady, and lots of sour dough. Some good iced coffee too. Wish there was more organic vendors.
What a relaxing way to spend a Friday evening! I don't know how we have managed to miss this the entire time we've lived nearby but now that we know we'll be back. Fantastic assortment of vendors, plenty of parking, I did see a couple of restrooms available if needed, live music, and a relaxing environment.
