Farmers Market
Tarzana, California
L.A. Wilshire Center Farmers Market is part of California Certified Farmers Markets, the Southern California operator that says it has been creating farmers’ markets and events since 1999 while connecting small producers directly with consumers across the region. In Tarzana, that affiliation places this market inside a larger network built around local farmers, artisans, and chef-prepared food vendors rather than a single stand-alone event. CCFM also describes its markets as community-driven and focused on nourishing neighborhoods, celebrating creativity, and strengthening local economies, which frames the kind of role this market is meant to play in its part of Los Angeles.
California Certified Farmers Markets says its model is built to empower local farmers, artisans, and chef-prepared food vendors across Southern California, and L.A. Wilshire Center Farmers Market operates under that same umbrella in Tarzana. That matters because the organization’s stated purpose is direct connection: small producers sell to consumers in markets designed to nourish neighborhoods and strengthen local economies. CCFM is also female-founded and led, a detail that helps define the organization behind this market and the values it attaches to its operations. Even with sparse public-facing specifics for this location, the market’s local significance is anchored in that mission of neighborhood-scale exchange, creative vendor participation, and recurring opportunities for farmers and food businesses to meet shoppers face to face in Tarzana.
No dogs are allowed at L.A. Wilshire Center Farmers Market, a rule that may shape plans before arrival. Restrooms are also listed as unavailable, so this is a stop to approach with a short-visit mindset rather than a long stay. The market is identified at Mariposa & Wilshire, giving visitors a clear intersection to navigate to within the neighborhood footprint served by this location. Public details do not clearly confirm parking, transit, SNAP/EBT, accessibility features, or payment methods, so the most reliable expectations come from the operator-level information CCFM publishes for its markets. For broader questions tied to CCFM markets, named contacts associated with the organization include Jennifer Jones, R, Katie, Amber, and Miles, and the group notes that email replies typically arrive within two to three business days because of high message volume. The CCFM site also publishes vendor-oriented guidance and founder notes through its blog, which signals an active operator beyond this single Tarzana listing.

Wilshire Blvd. Farmers Market is a great stop if you’re looking for fresh produce and artisanal goodies. The market is well-organized, and the variety is excellent—from fruits and vegetables to fresh pastries and gourmet oils. I was particularly impressed by the local honey stand, which had so many varieties to choose from. It’s not as crowded as other markets in LA, so it’s perfect for a relaxed Saturday morning.
Yes! There is a tiny farmers market on Courtyard Pl. nestled between Wiltshire and 8th St right next to the little turtle pond. There’s one produce stand which prices are low cause , what not. I got kale, carrots, squash, and strawberries for $12. Let that be Hollywood or Larchmont, I’d be out $20 easily! Brother’s hummus is there which for me is great. A couple of novelty stands; soaps, tea, oils, etc. and a Papusa stand that also has fresh fruit juices. That line was long do the lunch rush. If you live in the area swing by.
