Farmers Market
San Jose, California
Santa Teresa Farmers' Market is part of PCFMA, a nonprofit founded in 1988 with a mission to support California farmers and communities by providing farmers' markets for the Bay Area’s diverse neighborhoods. That mission gives this San Jose market a clear frame: it is a place to buy food, but also a place where regional farm businesses are put directly in front of shoppers each market day. At Santa Teresa Boulevard and Camino Verde Drive, the market connects South San Jose shoppers with producers whose work stretches from Half Moon Bay fields to a family farm in Cambria.
PCFMA’s stated mission is to support California farmers and communities, and Santa Teresa Farmers' Market sits squarely inside that model in San Jose. The market links local shopping with California farm production by featuring growers like Andreotti Farms, where the Andreotti family has spent nearly 100 years cultivating produce in Half Moon Bay. It also brings in Stepladder Ranch & Creamery from Cambria, a family farm producing goat and cow’s milk cheeses while also growing citrus and raising heritage pigs.
That mix matters because it keeps the market anchored in named farms rather than anonymous inventory. PCFMA also ties affordability to that farm access through EBT, WIC-FMNP, and Market Match programs across its markets, connecting everyday grocery shopping with broader food-access efforts in California.
The vendor mix highlighted for this market points to a compact lineup with real farm identity behind it rather than a long anonymous roster. Expect produce, dairy, and specialty prepared food tied to named growers and makers connected to the wider PCFMA network.
No dogs are allowed, which is one of the clearest visit rules to factor into a Sunday grocery run or neighborhood errand stop. Restrooms are not available on site, so this is a market where shorter, list-driven visits may be easier to plan. The market is located at Santa Teresa Boulevard and Camino Verde Drive in San Jose, a straightforward intersection that helps if you are navigating by cross streets rather than a standalone venue name.
Payment options are clearly presented, and the market operates year-round, which makes it a practical repeat stop instead of a short seasonal outing. With producers highlighted from places like Half Moon Bay and Cambria, the shopping emphasis lands on farm goods with identifiable origins.
Santa Teresa Farmers' Market accepts EBT, and PCFMA also promotes WIC-FMNP and Market Match as part of its fresh-food affordability programs. Market Match is connected to the California Nutrition Incentive Program, the California Market Match Consortium, the Ecology Center, CDFA, and USDA’s National Institute for Food and Agriculture through PCFMA’s partner network.
PCFMA states that shoppers can use WIC-FMNP coupons and CalFresh/EBT at the market information booth, and can ask about Market Match.

The best bread and veggies. I was reluctant to pay $1 for corn knowing it's only .17 cents at the market. I bought 4. I don't regret it one bit. It was bigger and the best flavor. I bought olive leaf bread $16. I was debating if I could enjoy $16 worth. My niece came over and it was worth every penny.
It's small, but the variety of vendors are good and the location is perfect. I just wished they had Beckmann's bread so that I don't have to go to the one at Oakridge Mall because it's further from my house. I don't like the bread vendor - tried it a couple of times.
Been to different farmer market but Love Love Santa Teresa Farmers's Market. It has great vendors with great produce and reasonable prices: from the sweetest organic strawberries, good varieties of vegetables (including some Asian vegetables ) and yummy fruits , popcorn, eggs, bread, fish, plants, succulents, cooked Thai food, ...Not all vendors are there every week though. This farmer's market is located in Kaiser Hospital so it was closed for a few years during covid. I was so sad and finally it opened again in summer 2023. Vendors and customers were so happy to find each other again like...
Worth the visit. Delicious produce and a fabulous selection of bread, fish, honey, eggs and soaps. Freshly cooked kabobs can also be purchased.
Great local and seasonal produce. They also have food stalls and stalls for local honey, jams and baked goods. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
