Farmers Market
San Francisco, California
Divisadero Certified Farmers' Market sits within a network run by PCFMA, a nonprofit founded in 1988 with a mission to support California farmers and communities through farmers' markets across the Bay Area. That mission-driven frame matters here because the market is certified, year-round, and tied to a broader effort to connect shoppers with California growers while improving fresh-food access through programs like EBT and Market Match. At Grove Street and Divisadero Street in San Francisco, the market offers a regular Sunday stop built around farm-direct shopping rather than a mixed street fair format.
The clearest picture of this market is a certified farmers market anchored by California producers connected with PCFMA's wider roster. The named vendors point to a mix that can span both fresh produce and specialty dairy from working farms rather than only grab-and-go prepared foods.
No dogs are allowed at Divisadero Certified Farmers' Market, a rule worth planning around before you head to Grove Street and Divisadero Street. The market operates on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. year-round, which makes it a consistent weekly option rather than a short seasonal run. Restrooms are not available on site, so it helps to plan that part of your visit before arriving. The location is listed simply at the intersection of Grove and Divisadero in San Francisco, so this market is oriented around that street-corner setup rather than a closed campus or plaza. Payment methods are clearly established through PCFMA's market systems, including EBT acceptance, which can make checkout more predictable if you are shopping across multiple farm stands.
Divisadero Certified Farmers' Market accepts SNAP/EBT through PCFMA's market program. PCFMA also promotes Market Match and WIC-FMNP as part of its fresh-food affordability work at its farmers' markets, placing this market within a system built to expand access to California-grown food. Payment options are presented clearly through the market operator's setup, which helps when planning a farm-focused Sunday shop.

Great place for fresh produce, too bad they are only there for a few hours every Sunday. Get there early for strawberries, they are so sweet and delicious that they sell out fast. The pomelos are sweet and tart, my youngest likes them!
It's alright, its best feature is that it's close to me. Farmers sell organic produce but it's expensive. The pastry stand is not as good as I hoped. There are some nice prepared foods (dumplings, hummus, bread, honey) and sometimes a fish guy. It sort of covers all the basics but isn't impressive enough that I want to go weekly. The farmers market on Clement is better and I go there instead if I have time.
This is a lovely farmers market with an outstanding selection of fresh fruits, vegetables as well as breads, nuts and flowers. What’s missing? It would be great if there was a place to sit down other than on the curb. I know they use a DMV inspection parking lot but it might make sense for the organizers to put out a few chairs for those folks who might like to buy and nosh and then buy some more treats!
Very nice and friendly neighbourhood market with local produces. Products are great and fresh and the people is nice and pleasant taking care of the customers. Now during pandemic they are taking care of keeping social distancing and using masks but still providing a great service! Thank you.
This farmer's market is relatively small compared to other markets in the City, and doesn't offer as many variety in terms of organic produce. However, prices are generally reasonable, although not necessarily among the least expensive. Fairly accessible by many bus lines, and has one of the best dried fruit/nuts vendors I have ever been, near the end. The dry cherries/pistachio 1/2 lb at $9 isn't exactly a bargain, but tastes great!
