Farmers Market
Salinas, California
Everyone’s Harvest runs this Friday market with a mission centered on access to healthy, affordable fruits and vegetables, which gives the Salinas Valley Memioral Healthcare Certified Farmers' Market a clear public-service bent alongside its weekly shopping function. In Salinas, that mission plays out in a seasonal market at 450 East Romie Lance, where shoppers can stop in late morning through the afternoon on Fridays from May to November. The setting pairs a healthcare campus address with a certified farmers' market schedule, making it a practical weekday option for picking up produce and prepared foods in one stop.
Friday at Salinas Valley brings a compact mix of hot food, snacks, drinks, and sweets alongside the market’s certified-farmers'-market mission. The named Friday vendors point to a lunch-friendly stop, with barbecue, tacos, pizza, corn, kettle corn, tea, and dessert all represented in the regular lineup.
Everyone’s Harvest describes its broader work as providing access to healthy, affordable fruits and vegetables through certified farmers’ markets and community food programs, which frames this stop as part of a larger Monterey County network rather than a standalone event. Vendor participation across the organization requires applications, permits, and acceptance criteria, reinforcing that this is a structured certified market environment rather than an informal pop-up.
Free parking is available next to the SVH Market, a useful detail if you're fitting a Friday visit into a workday or medical-campus errand. The market runs rain or shine from May to November, so the seasonal window matters more than the weekly weather forecast when planning around it. Dogs are not allowed. Restrooms are not available, so this is better approached as a straightforward shopping stop than a long linger. The Friday schedule starts at 11:30 AM and continues until 4:30 PM, which makes this one of the more midday-oriented markets in the area.
The market accepts EBT, WIC, and Senior FMNP benefits, and it runs a Market Match program for EBT customers to increase their spending power at the market. SNAP/EBT acceptance is confirmed for this market, so shoppers using nutrition benefits have a clear payment path here.
Free parking is available next to the SVH Market.
Seasonally open May to November; closed for the winter. Market accepts EBT, WIC, and Senior FMNP benefits and offers Market Match for EBT customers.
