Farmers Market
Pasadena, California
At 2901 N Sierra Madre Blvd, in front of Pasadena High School, the Saturday Victory Park market sets up in the 2900 block at Sierra Madre Boulevard and Paloma Street. The market is part of the Pasadena Farmers' Market operation, which notes fresh local fruits, vegetables, and farm products, along with vendors selling jams, jellies, fish, and more, while excluding craft vendors. Pasadena Farmers' Market materials also describe certified growers, non-certified agricultural products, prepared food, and floral and plant offerings, giving this stop a broad food-first mix rather than a craft-market lineup.
The Victory Park Saturday market is built around farm products and food vendors, with Pasadena Farmers' Market emphasizing certified growers and a selection that extends into baked goods, meats, seafood, prepared foods, and plants rather than crafts. That shows up in a vendor roster that mixes breakfast staples, pantry goods, proteins, drinks, and practical services.
Pasadena Farmers' Market also highlights hungry-now options, saying vendors cook farm-fresh food ready to eat, alongside floral and plant offerings elsewhere in the market mix.
Use the new monitored entrance at the northwest corner of the parking lot when you arrive. The market sits in the 2900 block of North Sierra Madre Boulevard at Paloma Street, directly in front of Pasadena High School, which is the clearest landmark for finding it. Dogs are not allowed, and restrooms are not available, two details that can shape how long you stay and what you bring with you. Pasadena Farmers' Market also notes that it operates rain or shine and has been serving Pasadena since 1980, so this is a market with a long-running weekly routine.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Pasadena-Victory Park (Saturday). Pasadena Farmers' Market materials also point shoppers to the information booth for program details, so that booth is the place to sort out market-payment questions once you arrive. Payment information is presented clearly by the market, which helps if you're planning a SNAP-based shopping trip.
The market is open rain or shine. The State Health Dept does not allow animals at the market, with the exception of service animals (not allowed under the tarps). The market provides market tokens using Square when cash runs out, and shoppers can check in at the information booth for details. Filming may occur and guests may be seen on camera.

We go every Saturday that we can. Excellent selection of goods. What a true farmers market should be. Friendly vendors. Parking can be a challenge, but just be patient, somebody will leave soon.
Beautiful tomatoes and basil from the market and a fresh baguette from breadman! The star was Fresco Pasta!! With the stracciatella and wild mushrooms on the baguette to the fantastic San Daniele Prosciutto, Nerone creamy sheep's cheese and savory pesto! It's a nice market to visit with a variety of choices.
Always excellent quality fruits and vegetables. Excellent bread, meat, eggs, and honey as well. And I always get some delicious tamales. There are masks required and a line to get inside and at each booth for Covid. I feel safe there.
There was a line to get in, which didn't take more than 15 minutes at about 1030. Masks required. Otherwise, not much is different. Great produce, honey, bread, eggs and pastured meat. Food and juice stands are open. I love this farmers market. I have been coming here for over ten years and I always look forward to it.
I try to visit this Farmer's Market every Saturday. I definitely have my favorite vendors. And as you become more and more friendly and comfortable with the vendors, you'll receive discounts, suggested recipes, and an overall good feeling when buying from them. I buy most of my garden plants here and have found very reasonable prices on hard to find varieties like Rose Geranium and Ahi Peruvian peppers. This market is extremely popular and it is is often difficult to find parking.
