Burbank Certified Farmers' Market pairs a long-running Saturday market with a practical food-rescue habit: many vendors donate unsold food to Food Forward at the end of the market. The market has been serving the community for over 40 years, giving this downtown Burbank stop a distinctly established feel rather than a pop-up rhythm. On a single visit, that can mean shopping produce, eggs, seafood, bread, flowers, nursery plants, and prepared foods from a vendor roster that stretches well beyond basic fruit-and-vegetable stands. If you like markets with both weekly staples and pantry extras, this one is set up for that kind of shop.
The mix here leans wide: everyday produce and eggs are joined by orchard fruit, seafood, cheeses, baked goods, plant starts, and several prepared-food vendors. That breadth makes it easier to build a full market run instead of a quick produce-only stop.
No dogs are allowed, and the market notes trained service animals only, so that policy may shape your plans before you leave home. Free parking is available in several specific areas: a small lot at Olive and Glenoaks, the Fire Station lot at Orange Grove and Glenoaks with weekend public access, the City Hall lot at Third and Orange Grove, plus street parking. The small lot at Olive and Glenoaks gets crowded, so the City Hall and Police/Fire Headquarters areas across Orange Grove or Third Street can be useful alternatives. The market also notes wheelchair accessibility, which matters for anyone planning a smoother route through the site.
EBT and WIC are accepted here, and the market also offers Market Match up to $15. That combination can make a difference if you're shopping for produce and staple foods with nutrition benefits. Payment options are clearly posted by the market, which helps when you're planning more than a cash-only visit.
Free parking is available in a small lot at Olive & Glenoaks (gets crowded), the Fire Station lot at Orange Grove & Glenoaks (available to the public on weekends) with entrances on Orange Grove or Palm, City Hall parking lot at Third & Orange Grove (entrance on Orange Grove; right across Third Street), and street parking. Tips also suggest parking across Orange Grove Ave at the Police/Fire Headquarters and behind City Hall across 3rd Street.
No public restrooms inside the market. Trained service animals only; no smoking. Wheelchair accessible. EBT and WIC accepted; Market Match up to $15. Bring your own bags (plastic t-shirt bags no longer allowed).

The Burbank Farmers Market is a hidden gem for fresh produce and local goods. It’s smaller than other markets, but that’s what makes it so special. The farmers are always friendly, and the selection of fruits, vegetables, and cheeses is fantastic. I always make sure to grab some fresh bread and local honey when I visit. It’s a nice, low-key way to spend a Sunday morning.
I felt like this was a lovely hidden gem in downtown Burbank! I loved all of the different vendors, and appreciated the variety of locally grown produce. I enjoyed that most of the vendors offered free samples of the items they were selling, which definitely helped in making the decision to buy something good! I enjoyed some Asian pears, pluots, delicious handmade pastries, and local honey. The vendors I interacted with were very friendly and welcoming. without pressuring anyone to buy and I appreciated that. I feel like it could benefit from a coffee place setting up there, as we went early...
I enjoyed shopping at Burbank Farmer’s Market specially with today’s weather. I Came home and enjoyed the delicious heirloom tomatoes and the extra crunchy cucumbers. The peaches were amazing and what can I say about the plumbs, simply delicious. I will be cooking some chicken with the bean sprouts l’ve got from there too.
Decent size Farmers Market with vegetables, fruits, flowers, plants. Honey vendors, Oil vendors, Fresh bread and Juice vendors. I bought some tasty cookies too. Some organic, some not. I'll go again, got some pretty scrumptious peaches last time. Go, you will find something you like.
Loved the amount of choices of farms for fresh fruit/veggies, but everything else kind of lagged. Not many options for locally made eats, just a couple of bakeries. They had fish to purchase too. I feel like it was missing like the soul of farmers markets… people playing music, food vendors, coffee vendors, and local art for sale etc.
