Baywood, California
At 2nd and Santa Maria Streets by the bay, Baywood Los Osos Farmers Market pairs a waterfront setting with a Monday market built around certified farm sales and locally made food. The vendor lineup reaches across the Central Coast, with growers from Huasna Valley, See Canyon, Cayucos, Morro Bay, Santa Maria Valley, Paso Robles, and Arroyo Grande bringing produce, fruit, olive oil, meats, and prepared foods to Baywood. That mix gives the market a practical errand feel as much as a browse: apples, pears, berries, microgreens, fish, tamales, soups, bread, cheese, and kettle corn all appear in one stop.
The strongest pattern here is range across a compact market: orchard fruit, vegetables, pasture-raised meat, olive products, baked goods, and ready-to-eat foods all show up from named Central Coast producers. The roster also mixes long-established farms with newer specialty growers, so a shopping trip can move from staple produce to microgreens, herbal tonics, or cultured meats without leaving the market.
No dogs are allowed, which may shape plans if you're walking over from the bayfront or nearby neighborhood streets. The market runs on Mondays from 2:00pm to 4:30pm year-round, making it more of an early-afternoon stop than an evening market. Restrooms are not available, so it helps to treat this as a focused shopping trip rather than a long stay. If you want produce from specific farms, the lineup includes growers coming in from places like See Canyon, Huasna Valley, Cayucos, Morro Bay, Santa Maria Valley, and Paso Robles, plus prepared-food vendors mixed through the market. The market association lists a phone number at (805) 748-1109.
SNAP/EBT is accepted at Baywood Los Osos Farmers Market. That matters here because the market's core lineup is produce-forward, with vegetables, fruit, microgreens, olive products, and other farm goods sold alongside prepared foods and pantry items. Payment methods are otherwise presented clearly by the market.
CalFresh EBT is accepted; market match tokens can match up to $15 of EBT purchase for fresh fruits and vegetables. Credit/debit cards can be used at the market manager’s booth to buy ATM tokens (a $2.00 convenience charge applies).

Out of the all farmer's markets, excluding San Luis Obispo, this one is the best. The variety of what you can buy is stellar and offers a good variety. This little community packs a mean punch and highly recommend you visit. This is an afternoon market from 2-4:30. This offers numerous local produce, organic farms and non organic plus a variety of other things like local honey and local mushrooms and sourdough bread. Try this next time you are close to Morro Bay. This community is adjacent to Los Osos which is a few miles south of Morro Bay.
I love our local farmers market. We think they have the best citrus out of the local farmers market. Great produce, bread, and even seafood options.
I love my local farmers market: the vendors are highly knowledgeable about their produce, kind and courteous. There's a great variety of high quality fruits & vegetables, not to mention honey, breads, desserts & seafood.
We camp in Morro Bay every year and I found this activity online. There is excellent produce...from organic to exotic and at fair prices. Found very good cheese, bread, fruit and olive oils for snacking at our camp site...
This is a small farmers' market that is located in Los Osos. It is not very noticeable because it is in a little hidden area. It mainly serves the residential community area for the locals. I like it more than the downtown SLO Farmers Market. It is less crowded and more relaxed. The only downside is that the choices are limited and prices vary depending on the suppliers. Nearby there is a great bakery that sells very good bread. My family likes the sourdough bread the best. I am passionate about the cranberry bread. I also recommend the bar restaurant near the door. It offers incredible...
