Heirloom Farmers Market- Trail Dust Town is shaped by Heirloom’s mission to expand access to fresh, healthy local food through programs including SNAP/EBT, WIC, and FMNP Seniors. In Tucson, that mission shows up in a Friday market running at Trail Dust Town, where shoppers can move between farm stands, prepared foods, pantry goods, plants, and health-and-wellness vendors in one stop. The vendor roster points to a market with both grocery staples and ready-to-eat options, from produce growers and tamales to churros and specialty food makers.
The mix here leans practical: growers, prepared-food vendors, pantry makers, and a few plant and wellness businesses share the same Friday lineup. That gives the market a shop-for-later and eat-now feel, with farm booths alongside tamales, churros, and shelf-stable food products.
Across the roster, the market lists 40 vendors, giving this Friday stop a broader range than a small produce-only setup. The vendor names attached to Trail Dust Town also show a strong overlap with other Heirloom markets, which can be useful if you already know a favorite producer from elsewhere in Tucson.
No dogs are allowed, which is the detail most likely to change how you plan a Friday visit. The market runs from 8am to 12pm from April through September, so this is a morning stop rather than an afternoon one. Heirloom also advises shoppers to arrive early because the best selection and high-demand goods go quickly, especially during seasonal peaks. If you need help finding a vendor once you arrive, look for the Market Info booth, where staff can point you to specific sellers and share day-of updates. Trail Dust Town’s address is 6541 East Tanque Verde Road in Tucson.
SNAP/EBT is accepted here as part of Heirloom’s broader food-access mission. The market group also supports WIC and FMNP Seniors programs. If you want a flexible non-cash option beyond direct vendor payment, Heirloom sells $5 wooden market tokens on site and online; they work at all Heirloom Farmers Markets and do not expire.
Market Info booth is available for questions and vendor help. Market tokens act as market currency ($5 per wooden token), can be purchased on site or online, are accepted at all Heirloom Farmers Markets, and never expire. Rain or shine: markets are not canceled unless on-site weather offers no chance for sales (e.g., lightning/torrential downpour).

We come to redeem the WIC vouchers we get. EBT is accepted too. The folks at the Information booth give you lots of information and are very helpful about WIC/EBT farmers market program. It's a great place to visit seasonally Friday mornings. We get the best tasting organic apples!
Lots of different vendors- I got some cinnamon Honey and a Chocolate drizzled Belgian Waffle- both delicious, Also the Mexican cart had great Quesabirrias for $5. Great first visit, y’all should check it out!😀
Great Farmer's Market. You can wander around, taste samples, and purchase wonderful fruits and veggies, not to mention craft breads! I purchased a wonderful rosemary French bread - OMG! (It's now resting on my thighs.)
Small group of friendly vendors, but I found wonderful, delicious, locally grown organic food here. Best tasting Arugula I've ever eaten, & an awesome chili vendor, that fresh roasts his chilis. The aroma is intoxicating. Hopefully, more people will discover this market. We need this Eastside location to grow into a thriving opportunity for consumers & farmers to connect. Our health depends upon getting back to connecting with the dirt.
I love checking out farmers markets in Tucson when I get a chance. So many different vendors than we get down in Green Valley.
